Permafrost Fast Travel: Sled Locations and Unlock Problems
Find Permafrost's mapped sled posts, unlock Horizon, troubleshoot missing destinations and distinguish existing fast travel from the buildable recipe.
Short answer: visit and unlock existing sled posts before using them as destinations. You need a second unlocked post to travel somewhere from Horizon. The buildable Fast Travel Point recipe is separate; it is not required to activate an existing post.

Find the five posts in our map snapshot
Select Travel & shelter, search for the post's English name and click its marker. The map uses English labels. Its five travel markers agree with the community location list:

Solar Fields is the post associated with Solar Power Plant. Search both names when comparing your journal with a guide. This map is a snapshot, not a tracker of your save's unlocked posts. For other places and resources, use the full map guide.
Unlock the Horizon post
The Horizon guide with game screenshots places it on a wooden platform to the left of Robyn's cabin porch, by the settlement square.
- Reach the square by Robyn's cabin.
- Step onto the platform beside the porch and face the snow-covered post.
- Wait for the Horizon interaction prompt and press F to unlock it.
- Check that the lantern lights and the prompt changes from unlocking to travelling.
The screenshots distinguish the sled post from a claimed bed. Standing next to the platform rather than on it can leave the prompt out of reach. This is a sourced landmark instruction, not a recorded route from every starting location.
Why the map opens but you cannot travel

| No interaction prompt | Check your position at the post and the on-screen prompt. |
If a controller interaction fails, test keyboard interaction at the same post and record the result. A current controller-specific fix has not been confirmed here; missing prompts do not necessarily share one cause.
The buildable recipe is a different problem
The official quest issues post identifies House Camp Flipper's intended reward: the craftable travel-point recipe should come from the reward box at the improvised radio tower near Finn. At this check, the developer still reports that the unlock does not work and is being fixed.
That does not prevent activating already placed posts. No verified recipe-unlock workaround is supplied here, and completing the quest is not presented as a guaranteed fix. If the reward fails, send your save and journal objective through the developer's file hub.
