What is Permafrost?
Permafrost is a story-driven open-world survival sandbox set on a near-future Earth trapped in endless winter. You play as Rook, an engineer drawn into the frozen wasteland by a radio signal from a long-lost friend.
Explore ruined cities and wilderness, gather resources, craft equipment, and restore a network of shelters. Harsh weather shapes every journey, while a dog companion and optional four-player co-op help you push farther into the world.
